Spring/Summer 2017 Trends: Graphic T-shirts
Posted on May 21 2017
They are everyone’s guilty pleasure that we can never seem to get enough of at any age. Whether it has a quote, slogan, fun design or logo across the chest whenever we find a graphic t-shirt that matches our personality we have to own it. Maybe they never left your wardrobe but, we do not always see printed t-shirts grace the runway as much as they did this past SS17 fashion week. From Giorgio Armani to Karl Lagerfeld and even Stella McCartney we saw designers dress these classic and comfortable statement pieces in so many different ways. Take a look at our favorite ways to style a graphic tee for both boys and girls that will leave them feeling like a trendsetter!
For both
They will be comfortable, classic, and confident when sporting matching a funny quoted top like Little Eleven Paris daily emoji’s t-shirt with their favorite fitting jean bottoms. I know when I say jean bottoms the first set that come to mind are your classic blue jeans which are also an option but, let’s be bold this season! Karl Lagerfeld illustrates this match by sending down the SS17 runway a model in one of his classic ‘Kameo’ t-shirts with a daring red leopard pant. To mimic this style, pick up a pair of bright and sassy yellow bottoms like Chloe’s Canary yellow pants for her and Scotch Shrunk’s Mustard yellow jeans for him. To complete the look go for a bright contrasting color top like Karl Lagerfeld’s ‘Kameo’ in blue for him or a Eleven Paris red ‘Karl is my father’ shirt for her. Mix and match different style bottoms with all your favorite graphic tees to create a look that lets his or her personality shine!
